PRODUCTION

ATAK TEXTILE has continuously expanded its knitting capacity in line with customer demand. Between 2013 and 2016, the company invested in 21 open-width knitting machines. Today, our knitting mill operates 24 tubular knitting machines and 21 open-width knitting machines, including high-technology machines from Terrot, Mayer, Pailung and Pilotelli.

To further strengthen our production capabilities, we invested in 8 brand-new 2024 model Mayer knitting machines and 2 brand-new 2024 model Terrot knitting machines in 2024. In 2026, we added 4 more 2024 model Terrot interlock knitting machines to our production line. These investments have increased our production capacity, efficiency and product flexibility, enabling us to better serve our customers with reliable production planning and competitive lead times.

Our knitting mill has a production capacity of approximately 20 tons per day. We produce Tubular and Open-Width knitted fabrics, including Lycra and Full Lycra constructions, Single Jersey, Single Lacoste Pique, Double Lacoste Pique, American Lacoste Pique, Rib, Interlock, Camisole, Cardigan, Two Thread Fleece, Three Thread Fleece and Double Face Interlock. Our knitted fabrics can be produced in GSM ranges from approximately 100 to 700 g/m², depending on the fabric construction and production requirements.

We can knit fabrics using different fibre compositions and yarn blends, including 100% Cotton, 100% Polyester, 100% Viscose, Cotton/Polyester, Cotton/Viscose, Modal, Modal/Cotton, Polyviscose, Grey Melange, Snow Melange and other customised blended fabrics.

10 of our tubular knitting machines are equipped with Lycra attachments, while all 21 of our open-width knitting machines are equipped with Full Lycra attachments.

Each fabric roll is inspected immediately after knitting by our experienced quality control staff using different lighting conditions to identify visible knitting defects and ensure consistent fabric quality before the fabric proceeds to the next production stage.
