PRODUCTION

Atak Textile manages the finishing of its knitted fabrics through carefully selected and trusted finishing partners in Turkey. Depending on the fabric construction and customer requirements, finishing processes are arranged to achieve the required final fabric specifications, appearance and performance characteristics.

The final fabric width is determined during the finishing process and depends on the fabric construction, knitting parameters and required finishing specifications. We have produced open-width fabrics up to approximately 210 cm, while tubular fabrics can be finished from approximately 60 cm, depending on the fabric type and production requirements.

Finishing can be used to achieve the required GSM, width, shrinkage, hand feel, appearance and other performance properties. Depending on customer requirements, different finishing treatments can be applied, including raising and brushing, as well as technical finishes such as antibacterial, water-repellent and hydrophilic finishing.

Quality control is carried out throughout the finishing process. Our finishing partners perform their own quality inspections, while Atak Textile's quality control personnel also inspect the fabric at the partner facility. After the finished fabric returns to our facility, it is inspected again by our own quality control team before proceeding to the next stage or shipment.
